Hi guys will vs ss Commodore 4L60 gear box tail shaft fit a vh Commodore with T700 I know I will have to change the diff flange

Generally you can mix and match drive shafts. Use the rear section from the original car and the front section to suit the relevant gearbox/donor car.

Is that an entire shortening, or a case of front half of VS and rear of VH?

Use the VS front and the VH rear, this is exactly what I did when I fitted a 4L60E in a VC.
