have just had to replace the rubber boot on the cv joint on the tail shaft. though I did the right thing and marked the shaft for when I split it but ended up marking the bit I took off!!
now I have got a vibration at 50kmh which i assume is from the tail shaft being out of balance. it only seems to happen at 50. is there a trick to getting it lined up again without taking it to a tailshaft shop?

Make sure the centre bearing is mounted properly. And try unbolting the tailshaft at the diff and gearbox and rotating it 180°
Aside fromt hat I cant think of anything else that could go wrong from changing a boot
