Tensioner Arm Replacement, Help? Can anyone tell me how to replace the tensioner arm as where the bolt goes into it is threaded. i have a wrecked vs which i can get parts from, but have no idea how to remove/replace the tensioner arm. any help would be awesome! car: vs series 1 exec
u need to remove the alternator, then you should be able to see where all your bolts are, from memory there are about 4 bolts that hold that on. you'll need to top up your coolant levels afterwards. i cant seem to find my gregories... the tensioner pulley bolt is left hand thread. by the sounds of it, you have just done what i did 2 years ago i know the pain! someone should post up the bolt count and what needs to be removed shortly, as i cant find my manual
if someone has the chapter from gergeries that would be awesome, or a step by step instruction would be nice. kinda need this info urgently, as i have work again on monday :S thanks guys
