Tensioner pulley replacement?

So my belt is squeaking like a spastic. I've been told by a mechanic that my tensioner pulley needs replacing since it's making noise and I'd suppose starting to become loose. By memory he told me to get a tensioner bracket. Just wanted to know if that's correct?

You can replace the pulley on it's own, however the issue may also lay with the tensioner arm, which is why he said to replace the whole thing.

A Gates kit including new serpentine belt are $120 on eBay.

Yeah I may aswell replace the whole thing. Had a look at them. May make a purchase.

Doesn't look like the "kit" comes with o-rings.

I had the same problem with two of my pulleys, one on the supercharger belt and one on the main belt (the small grooved one). The bearings in the small one had virtually seized and I could hardly turn it with my fingers. Anyway I just replaced the actual pulleys and the nose had completely gone, which is lucky as I didn't know about the bracket!
