TH700 or T400 for my ss

    NEED HELP? MY SS NEEDS A AUTO [asap] I WAS TOLD A T400 WILL FIT
    OR SOULD I JUST GET A NEW TH700 FOR IT NEED HELP

    how deep is your wallet? if it's deep, get the T400, but AFAIK it's hydraulic, so there'll be a fair bit of stuffing round to wire it up. if it's an urgent job, just get a T700 - straight bolt in

    the th700 is good just get a stage 2 shift kit to give it abit more strength and if giving it a hard time dont forget a trans oil cooler

    i spent $700 on a 2nd hand box that i test drove and it felt fine (was a t700)

    had it in for 2 days and it blew up.

    now getting the original box rebuilt for about $2000-2500

    spend the cash and do it right the first time.
