    Do the stato dash man!!
Lovin your cars. They look beautiful.
Love how the VS has SVS 795 plates. To top that off, if it was a july build.. Then your name started with an S.

statesman dashes are a worth while upgrade. they are sleeker, smoother and less in your face than the fat, flat faced povo spec dash. I prefer the earlier looking ones (VR and series 1 and 2 VS) to the last of the vs ones with all the woodgrain.

your car makes me miss my old VS exec a little.

I'll just leave this here. that's my VR statesman. it's got the extra velvet lined glove box above the normal one. it also looks less busy than the series 3 woodgrain one too. you'll also get the sexy little dash clock.

That looks really nice, unfortunately id lose the second glovebox because of the passenger airbag but would be an improvement over the current dash which has a slightly warped airbag cover /:

you will need to get a dash from a stato with a passenger's airbag then. I like how the lines on the dash flow into the doors. you can't see it in this pic but I've got calais leather and woodgrain door trims instead of the pitted suede statesman ones.

what other plans have you got for this car?

    edit:

check out antondude's thread on his VS acclaim, he's done a full statesman dash conversion (series 3) with statesman door trims.

Id love a set of vs senator/gts leather seats but that wont happen for a while, would like to lower just a little probably to superlow height, wouldnt mind a small sub and possibly respray as every panel has some mark or small dent on it, or at least the bonnet for now (very badly stone-chipped) and just keep it tidy and maintained. Main thing I want to do now is to get the level 3 dash in and wire in a foglight switch so I have working foglights and odometer. Also want to clean the bay up a bit too as its filthy dirty at the moment

If you get a stato dash with the loom it already has the foglight wiring in it...

The stato loom is slightly different because of the climate control, it doesn't have the plug for the a/c button and I think a couple of things are slightly different as well

Who needs a/c. Or just swap the boxes over to suit climate control. Wouldnt be much involved after the dash is out.

Apparently it's a lot of work, extra sensors and stuff so I probably wouldn't bother to be honest haha
