Bought this BT1 on the weekend for its driveline. Has had a bit of money spent on new parts such as radiator, hoses, fan belts, alternator plus other things. I know the engine covers are wrong, and also has a v6 airbox as v8 one was missing.
Also have purchased a level 3 conversion loom

My level 3 conversion loom has arrived and will get around to putting that in one day. Also started stripping the BT1 and selling off some stuff I dont need

Stripped the interior out of the BT1 and found this huge crack in the floor under the drivers seat mount

Also found the build sheet under the carpet

And a photo showing the damage to the car

Finally got my level 3 dash and working.. well mostly, but it works! Used a patchloom which I bought from eBay. Also finally got my foglights working which just needed a relay after the patchloom was installed

Got my lower lip kit in high fill primer and now just needs to be sanded and a few more imperfections filled in
also bought a set of calais/berlina inner door thingys

When do you plan doing the driveline conversion ?

Yeah just a few H series holdens here haha
Driveline conversion should hopefully happen by the end of the year, and the build sheet was under the carpet and under felt stuff on the front drivers side

Went down to the woolsheds with a mate today and took some photos. Also swapped the cluster out for another one and now have 2/3 working screens. I replaced all of the globes in the cluster before putting it in

I also discovered this today when I noticed my centre brake light was not working, I have another one here to change over one day

Gave the vs a clay bar, polish and wax today, came up pretty good and removed a lot of crap off the paint.

Looks great mate! Excuse the ignorance but what is a patch loom and much involved with install of it and cluster?

Would love level 3 but have a v6 and unsure if they had level 3 clusters?
