my VN V6 is making about 148rwhp on the Gtech. i use 3305lbs as my weight

Sounds about right for a manual with a few extra mods than mine, weight too. They both have big heavy duty tow bars right?. Mine shows 140rwhp these days and I'm not sure why since it's alot slower down low than it used to be. I blame a sloppy timing chain retarding the cam timing

you sure about that foam? you think the v6 has 150-160fwkw?

Has to to make those times with the massive lack of grunt a V6 has. Don't forget that was a Auto lexcen (berlina) with a 25kg towbar and no weight removal 100% factory exhaust and used to make 6.95 to 60mph

it's neither really. it measures the actual HP to push the vehicle to what ever speed your travelling at. it will be close to say the rear wheel HP reading from a dyno but it will be less. this is because on the road you have rolling resistance and aerodynamic drag that slows the car down to factor into the final power reading, you don't have these factors to deal with on a dyno.

violent gear changes will also give exagerated hp figures

Quick update.

Took ther VR out for a run on this brisk Friday night. 0-60 mph in 5.04 seconds on the gtech. Wheel spin is still a problem on gear shifts.

4.689sec to 60mph

Hey guys. I ran a 4.858 sec 0-100klh time and then converted the Gtec to mph which gave me a 4.689 sec 0-60mph time. This was with a 2.5sec 60foot time as I am taking it easy off the line (traction issues).
355ci, 10-1 comp, 286 cam, big v/v worked heads, COME manifold, pacemaker tri-y into 3", 3000rpm stall, 3.73diff gears. Big traction issues
Have attached a photo of the GTEC time.
