Hey guys. I ran a 4.858 sec 0-100klh time and then converted the Gtec to mph which gave me a 4.689 sec 0-60mph time. This was with a 2.5sec 60foot time as I am taking it easy off the line (traction issues).
355ci, 10-1 comp, 286 cam, big v/v worked heads, COME manifold, pacemaker tri-y into 3", 3000rpm stall, 3.73diff gears. Big traction issues
Have attached a photo of the GTEC time.

Well done! :), Now the big question.... What can it do with traction !:)?, A car like that would be easily under 2.0 seconds to 60 foot on a dragstrip so it's safe to say it would be near 4 seconds flat with perfect traction

new exhaust = fail. couldnt run any better than 6.5. rear tyres are too **** to do any gtech runs until the lsd goes on, and the engine is losing power quick. greenfoam is still ahead for the moment.

yes. yes it is. if you drove it you could see how much stuff is starting to fail on it. no time to fix it

funny, a better exhaust really should help a charged engine. maybe the final 2.5" section is still restricting it like before. then again, if the engine is dying then even the best exhaust isn't going to do ****:D

yeah i should have a new engine soon. the problem with the exhaust is i think it has chambered mufflers. its probably not very good for flow, so i dunno what to do with it. im thinking im gonna cut off the rear end of the exhaust from the diff

either that or the flow is better, meaning that the 8psi is effectively less. EI less pressure out = less manifold pressure??? Or am i wrong?

I have a line on a ex V8 (supercar or whatever it was called back then) inlet manifold for a Holden V8. If I can get around a few issues I should be able to make it work on a street car. Anybody got any idea what it's worth?
