I just put a touch screen head unit and new speakers in my car, would the stock Blaupunkt head unit have any resale value or should I just bin it, the speakers I think I will hold on to for spares or whatever.

Stock speakers on eBay are going for about $40 ea!
I've been looking for some and am about ready to give up.
Headunits still sell for $100-$200.

Why would you buy stock speakers? Surely there are better products available.

The stock speakers are made in Korea of all places, not even China and the cones are made of paper.

*Sad new* Commodores are no longer going to be made.

Guy was hanging on to them, price was mentioned only as the going price, but like u said who would buy rubbish for 40 bucks.

I would because I want to replace the factory speakers that i ditched.

It’s hard to find speakers that are better or as good for small coin.

I’m not wanting to put class speakers in when I sell.

What if you want to replace one?

It would be a lot easier if getting the speakers in and out was a 5 minute job, Ive changed the speakers on my other car twice in the name of upgrading when I had more money because it was so easy to get them in and out, no pain in the ass process of taking door panels off etc.

Head units need to be reprogrammed to work in someone else's car once they're removed. Hence why they're going for so cheap.

As for the stock speakers? They're paper cone and really cheaply made. Probs the only benefit to them is if you're planning on keeping the car all original.

Personally I would try and wait for a good deal on one of Pioneer's entry level component systems. I have some of their speakers in my doors, got them for an absolute steal when SCA was doing a sale on Pioneer speakers. I think i got my pair for about $90 or so?
