This is also good for cleaning your car, just get a cloth and cover the entire car with it, gives that nice raw metal shine ;)

multi purpose. works as a good mixer with coke for them harcore nights lmfao

de-badging a vt

I want to de badge my vt wagon.

is there any kind of solvent that will remove the badges?

are there any holes that are exposed by removing them?

i want to remove the v6 ecotec badges on the front quarter panels and the executive and commodore badges on the tailgate.

any help would be great!

yes.. There are heaps of threads on this.. And the front quarter panel is called a "guard", "fender" if you're American..

Do a search.. I've written a mini guide on this too, in this section.. If you still can't find it, I'll get it for you..

hehe sorry man, i studied industrial design, so referring to a car's design features has a bit of an american twist about it.

now ive graduated i should try to re-australianise my car talk.

in other thread ppl have said use nail polish remover and as i said in the threads do not use nail polish remover unless you wanna remove some paint. it may be cheap but a no no.

use PPG prepsol to remove glue left on the body once you pull them off

Someone once said to use fishing line to cut through the tape. Don't know how well this would go.

i used a rag and a flat screwdriver to pry them off. surprisingly, meguiars window cleaner got the remainder of the glue off. the holden emblems on the bonnet and boot are located by two pins through the steelwork, so deletion of these will require some panel work.
