I have a VS Commodore Series 2 3.8 and i can find that VN-VP 5 liters are easy to cum by but the VS ones seem to be a lot more expencive.
What are the diffrentices between the injected 5lers if any and are all the wiring looms the same for the VN-VP and the VR-VS

there is a big difference in power so they must be a fair bit different.

They are the same motor almost exactly. The big differences are.

    1. The front engine cover has a different logo
    2. The VS has a Yellow oil cap, The VN black
    3. The VS (series 2 only) has a better air box lid/hose and CAI
    4. The VN has mini 4 in 1 factory headers like the clubsports which is most of the reason why it was by far the fastest model of them all (it's also the lighest)

Also apart from the faster ALDL and different program on the memcal the VR-S's the computer in the manual VS's is the same one that's in the VN

They're all the same 5.0L 304 EFI engines not many differences, other than what's already mentioned.

the s1 VT V8 with the holden 5L i believe has sequencial injection, all the other V8's VN - VS are basically the same except for the cam/memcal for the slighty higher output engines and stuff listed before. i guess the difference in price is probably down to the age/mileage of the engines in question etc

edit: the later model cars have different ECU's to control things like electronic gearboxes, body control modules, car security etc
