You guys forget show cars ARE weird, its just like art really. my mums an artist, half the stuff she shows me (hers and other peoples work) makes me think "Da Fuq were they thinking?!".

Have to disagree with show cars bring weird, most of the shows I've been to they are tastefully modified but not weird. Some cars even look like they have just a killer paint job and some rims, anyone can make their car look weird so does it make it a show car?

Some people build a car to make a statement. to them its art, and it is.

No not any weird car can be a show car, look at most of the cars posted in here. You will notice that although the car look strange, the quality of the work put into them is outstanding. Think of it like paintings. Nice street cars are like realism, funky show cars are like abstract. It takes a special kind of person to appreciate absract and I am not one of them, but I respect the artist's work because I can see the hours of work that has been put into it, art is self expression and it follows no trend.

I never knocked the car, just didn't agree with your statement about show cars being weird.

artwork is in the eye of the beholder.
enough said on that discussion =P

i just love how everyone has to put "show car" on something half done because either they are sick of it, run out of funds, or have come to a realisation.
if it was a "show car" it would be all finished, all sprayed, everything done.
that aint a show car. its a half arsed project car that they cannot be bothered finishing into a "show car"

When a postie bike rapes a pitty.. I wonder what dollars hes asking for it, doubt he would get much for it.

There's actually a few postie bike clubs around that build these and have their own race meets .
