That sucks bro at least you still have the Ute to keep you happy till it's back on the road.That is some serious coin for a transfer case but i guess it's better then 2wd or no wheel drive. Life does get in the way every f#$kn time.

Found a cheap gearbox down in sydney I'm trying to buy which will get it at least going again - to build a good gearbox is going to cost me about 4k in parts alone...

looks like it'll be running 20psi for a fair while!

So, what have I done lately?

1. Had the battery changed.

2. Increased the whining noise in my transfer.

3. Blew my 5 speed gearbox to pieces

4. Bought a built shep 5 speed from Sydney and had that fitted.

5. Got defected for the front suspension being too stiff, eyebrow height and a recirculating blow off valve.

6. Got un-defected by just showing up and listening to the Qld transport man tell me how much of a dumb **** the cop was.

Yep, the transport inspector asked me if I changed it after I was pulled over - which I haven't. He then said "what the **** is this guys problem then?"
