I have never had that i'm over it stage, i love training. Weight is 113kg body fat down to 11%. I aim for 500grams aweek in weight increase, as anymore it would be fat. Eating between 4500-5000calories a day.

come along way from the start of the year unable to bench 20kgs with proper balance to this.

Im still benching 80kg. well done:beer chug:. Some big boys down at my gym and most are the pt's. when i listen to what they bench under 100kg isnt that bad. 80-90-100kg. They do some late night 24 hour gyms and come into contact with some juiced up big boppers. They can hardly bench 60kg.

I usually fail on my 6th rep of 100kg. Once I get to 8 moving up to 110.

Im currently on about 110kg bench.
This new routine I'm following is working well. Im getting results alot quicker. I now do 3 main splits twice a week. Shoulders/traps, back/bi's and chest and triceps. Throw done legs in on the seventh day and abs through every workout and that makes for a very sore body : p

Yeah 110 is about what I'm at- I'm not too keen on a massive chest as opposed to more lean muscle so I'm starting to look at different toning techniques for the Pecs?? Anyone have any ideas??? I know doing like 3x30 push-ups a day helps, increasing the reps weekly.

My understanding was that to tone you needed to promote muscle endurance. I.e lighter weight with more reps.

Feel free to correct me though.

Tone? As in decrease body fat? Toning is done in the kitchen not the gym. If you're trying to 'cut' then you can do reps of 12-15 if you want, or 4-8 reps with heavies. As long as you're still using ENERGY. Gotta burn more calories than you're consuming (it's called a calorie deficit). This will cause you to lose weight. Aim for a deficit of about 10-20% of your maintenance. Any lower and you will break down too much muscle.

Keep up the good work Hama. I pulled off 40's last monday. I great your getting on the old mesomorph?

@ discomat. Cutting is the bodybuilding term. Most people however will know and refer to it as toning.
