I've been told to expect full boost by 3500rpm, it's got 6L of motor spinning it remember.
I knew it would hit boost quicker than setups i have seen on supras. I was just curious to see the difference.
Should be quite the monster. certainly well past the old blown 6
Very nice setup mate can't wait to see it all installed
We should race
540rwhp Turbo LS1. Mmm skids
Got some of the hoses ran today. Working all weekend has pushed back getting anything else done but I'll see how I go on Sunday. I've got a carpenter friend who's going to knock up a panel to hide all the fuel stuff up the front which will make it tidier.
ASE rails installed - almost ready for the weekend.
Can't believe u did this
tuff rig dude!!
yeh with the whole speedflow y piece joiner
it works yes....
but its not the best
as I was going to do that in my silvia race car, but thought bout it, and ill return my y piece and just do a line for each pump,
will flow a shitloads better,
then you just need a twin entry fuel rail, which I thought the ASE jobs where anyway ??
should make some grunt thats for sure!!
ill def be checking up on this build thats for sure =)
Yeah ASE rails are twin entry, so is my regulator but I just don't see the point, doing it this way is giving me enough fuel for about 700hp on E85 - it'll cope with 550hp on 98.
Looking good man, will be good to see the turbo go!
Thanks boss. I rang up bayside performance services to book in the clutch and tune today - it goes in Tuesday next week.
Had a problem today where we can't find any suppliers of 3.5" stainless pipe for an exhaust, I might just have to bolt on a cat and run straight out of that for now.
Try Sureflow in Sydney as they do a wonderful single 3 1/2" exhaust system so they may sell you the pipe you need.
very nice rig you got there mate. looks neet and tidy, what kind of kings did you get? i think super lows for the front, and ultras for the rear would look schmick. just depending on how much you love scraping haha
It's got kings lows in the rear and stockers up the front. I'll probably leave it that way otherwise I won't be able to get onto work sites.
So, at about 1AM on the day of tuning the whole thing including a custom 416 stainless steel exhaust was finished and ready for the tow truck in the morning.
This is quite possibly the most awesome oil pickup plate ever made - cost $50 off ebay compared to the $120 HSV want for their single port. This'll be handy when I put an oil pressure gauge in one day.
Believe it or not, that's actually the muffler on about 1.5m of pipe - should flow well....
Nice ute, will be interesting to see figures once its tuned.
^^ As jester said ^^
Love it mate , looks so good. Bet she's fun to drive!
Cant wait to see a pic of the dyno sheet if you upload one, should have a s$#t load of power
