So after conquering Otties i decided that waiting for pedestrians was below me. So i took a right hand turn over the median and parked in the spot i was after anyway.

Strike, not sure how it makes me a wanker? You've never done something for a bit of fun "because you can"? I respect that you've got you opinion, and if me driving over a gutter to get to a parking spot lowers it then fair enough 
There were plenty of spots, it's not like i did it to queue jump. 90% of the 5 cars infront of me went up the ramp to the underground carpark which i cant use.
