Im contemplating taking the front roof bar off. And somewhere down the track getting a sports style bar and remounting the spotlights. Not sure yet though.

Lift wont be going in for another week. Hoping to have it in before the end of the month.

So 4.5 cars went underground? :p

Everybody knows that 83.6% of statistics are made up. What i was trying to get across was that in doing what i did i wasnt stealing the only spot in the carpark where everybody else was heading by driving over a gravel median :p

Nice rig make sure when you fit the body lift to modify your bullbar mounts so it doesn't look retarded. A nice set of 80 series diff would look good under it too. Haha
Miss my old hilux they really are the ****.

Cheers mate, yeah they are tough as. Even in stock form. Leg's all healed up now. Arms still giving me grief but nothing that isnt manageable.

The bar mounts are the only thing that will really give me grief on the lift. How did you modify yours? I was thinking of an Xrok style front bar, but the money i spend on that would better go to winch + suspension lift.

Seeing as you have the Toyota bar Id just remove the two mounting plates trace them and make two new ones a couple of inches longer at the top holes for the bar. It would be easily done with an angle grinder and a drill.

Cheers mate! Will get onto it. Had a look last night and looks pretty straightforward.

Ladderbar or no?

Plan would be to take the bar off now, and in the future get a sports style bar.
