Large regions of NSW and Sydney will now stay in lockdown until midnight 30 July!!
There's gonna be some backlash if this stuff continues, the politicians are still getting their very large salaries paid through all of this, but the working class plebs are the ones who are forced to take a hit, income and job security ....yet strangely, our property prices are still booming ahead...

Our politicians and bureaucrats remuneration needs reassessing. ScoMo is the worst PM in my lifetime.
The state Premiers aren't much better. And they really don't much care about losing an election on a personal level, as they will be offered lucrative gigs within the private corporate sector.

There should've never been any boarder lock downs and none internal either.

2GB was finished when Channel 9 bought them out, mass lockdown's don't work. We really need to isolate overseas traveller's (think $10 dollar POM's), until the Vaccination program can catch up and get a decent percentage of participants.

Have you got any figures on the silent pandemic of mental health issues from lock downs and the "long" financial burden imposed on millions of Australians?
Have you done a study on what the affects on a medical system will be in 50 years when we have hundreds of thousands of people with not enough super in retirement because everyone raided their super because of lock downs?

The Swedish population are probably somewhat different to the English population as are their demographics/geography. There is much more to it than simple lockdown/ no lock down.

Finally, It's **** to go back into lockdown, but anybody who blames the Vic gov for this is blind.

Australia is 38th of 38 of OECD countries for population vaxxed, thanks Scomo. New laughing stock of the world. Imagine if we had 50%+ of the population vaxxed like the UK (a much smaller total remember) plus no covid. We'd be sitting pretty.
Gladys didn't want to lockdown and it's all over Sydney and elsewhere.
Then morons going shopping when they are meant to be in isolation.
