Hi all just wondering on the vs bt1 memcals as I purchased a motor and loom and ecu some time ago. I was told it had come from a highway pursuit car and that it had been rebuilt with a mild cam it certainty performed as such very lively from 4000 rpm right out to the 6000 limiter. It was taken off the rd a few years l8er and stripped only to find it still had all the factory gaskets ( no rebuild nor cam ) my question is are all bt1s a myth or where there infact mystery memcals used by police I am unable to find the codes on any listing... any help to identity would be greatly appreciated code is BRHS 6560 thanks in advance

The only "mod" to BT1 memcals was RF shielding coz of the plod's electrical gadgets that were installed.

There was no mystery memcal on police cars , as mentioned they were shielded only , there were no performance enhancements at all on them , so the mystery memcal is like the police chip .

That is not a memcal code I have seen before.

All I can suggest is that you send the memcal to The1 (forum member) who can read the code and tell what it is as well as add it to the list of known factory memcals.

Well it's definitely genuine and one not seen before. As I suggested before you need to send it off to someone who can read it to see exactly what is on it.

Same service number. There's always the possibility this is for a 95 trans and just hasnt been included on the list.
