Cheers Mate,

Yeah, the gauge will go at the base of the A pillar.

Shame about the shipping :(

Nice Calais! my favourite model. haha
looks tidy, loving all the interior goodies.

Re Gauge. base of A pillar is just right for one (actually 2), and if mounted low and custom, is a good spot to read them without obscuring any external visibility. and doesn't look all ricer.
I've got a pair mounted there.

Cheers mate,

That's exactly what I'm shooting for. Boost gauge just arrived :)

Just need to figure out where I'm going to get the tubing through the firewall and best place to source boost/vac from.

Started fitting the gauge, used a standard Autometer cup. Just doesn't look right to me but at least it's in. I have only pulled the wiring and tubing through to under the dash.

.... then the missus asked what I was doing........

How easy are they to read during your mid 12 qtr's?

haha, what'd you tell her? if you've got kids, could be a mothers day gift.
I take it the install is completed, you got any pics?
and any plans for a pulley swap and more boost?

i don't wanna hijack immortality's thread, but I haven't been looking at them during the run, I check some stuff before the run and one has a shift light so I notice that, but am mostly too focused on the tacho and trying to get my shifts right before the limiter. i read them more on the street to be fair.

No, not complete yet.

I fitted the gauge but I'm going to try a few different positions before I finalise it. ATM I have only pulled the wiring through to under the dash. Need to find a location to pull the tubing through the firewall. All else fails I'll use the blanking grommet for the clutch.

Been busy trying to sort a cold start issue. It's no longer stalling on a cold start but it's not 100%.

I did get a lean exhaust code on the LH bank so I may have a tired O2 sensor or possible injector issue? New O2 sensors will be going in as well as testing the injectors and I have a few other goodies on the way from MACE as well.

No room there, VX dash is a lot more sculpted and not much spare room anywhere.

The only room is next to the climate air panel but I don't think I'm keen to mount anything there. Maybe a small gauge mounted on the dash next to the pillar?

Moyes Holden of Panmure rego sticker ?

Couldn't fit the gauge under the trip computer/beside the climate control? Try and graft it in to look stock? Or visibility of it wouldn't be great?
