Moyes Holden of Panmure rego sticker ?

Yeah, it's only had a couple of owners and it was on sold originally through a Holden dealership. She was originally from down south, Wairarapa somewhere I think (i'll have to check the owners manual with all the details).

Couldn't fit the gauge under the trip computer/beside the climate control? Try and graft it in to look stock? Or visibility of it wouldn't be great?

No cutting of panels allowed. That would piss of the missus to much, it is her car. I think her rules are that I'm not allowed to do anything to it other than service it but Shooshhh, what she doesn't know won't hurt her :D

It's definitely NOT LSD :( as I confirmed when I turned off the "anti-fun" function earlier. I have now modified the tune so the "anti-fun" function doesn't kill the power as quickly and as much as it did before, now if the wheels spin it's just like you have backed off the throttle a bit.

On the look out for a complete (preferably) M80, 3.46 gears & LSD diff if any of the kiwi guys know of anybody willing to unload one as they seem to be a bit hard to find here in NZ. My local wreckers seem to have a few 3.07 diffs but no 3.46 units.

And of course, the obligatory parts pic,

If only you were in VIC. Have one off a VY Senator. It's the back up for the sedan. Was gonna swap the flanges over.

Yeah, if only. Seen a few on ebay but I think shipping to NZ may be a bit cost prohibitive :(

Hopefully something will turn up. Worst case I get a standard open centre M80 with 3.46 gears and then buy a Eaton True-Trac from Summit racing in the US.

Even the missus appreciates your mad skills :p

I missed this.

Don't know about mad skills, I'm sure she thinks I'm just mad....

Fitted the MACE CAI this morning. Definitely notice a difference, have no idea yet about fuel economy or power but the induction noise has definitely increased, now with moderate throttle you can hear the blower whine :D before you fairly much had to go almost full throttle to be able to hear the blower.

Also cleaned the blower pulley with a steel wire brush as I was getting a bit of belt squeal on a cold start, only started doing it after I degreased the engine so I probably got some crap onto the belt/pulleys, hope that's all it is because the belt is fairly new.

Pics to follow...

edit:belt squeal is gone :)

So the belt squeal returned after a couple of days :(

Simple solution = change the pulley = boost upgrade time :D

Obligatory car porn attached. Sadly she needs another good clean.

Also, fitting the MACE CAI seems to have improved the cold start issue. Not sure why but I'll take it :)

VS V8 Manual
.

The missus liked the look of it but wasn't happy with the standard throttle response .

When I read that - this was the first thing I thought of..

" I don't need a computer to tell me about my throttle response " Neela in Tokyo Drift..

LOL, Tokyo drift, probably the worst of the sequels in the series.

I'm still trying to learn how to not "Granny shift and double clutch like you should" even though I'm driving an Auto :hmmm:
