Ok, so I have yet another beast. Earlier this year, I noticed a lady selling a BT1 VR for $2500 so I decided to go and have a look, after taking it for the usual test drive and of course checking it over I decided to buy it, for what I thought was a bargain $2100. Drover perfectly, had the usual little issues you would expect.

It wasn't until later that day a friend and myself did some research and this is when we found out I didn't have a BT1, I had a VR SS :surprise:

She does have rear damage which I have been quoted no more than $700 to repair, otherwise, its my first very own 5L/V8 (SLIKIWI is obviously the BF's but I drive it lol). The poor VE no longer gets driven, driving a 5L is just a totally different experience and I LOVE it!

Make: 04/07/1994
Model: VR SS
Paint: White (only recently resprayed)
Tyres/Wheels: dunno, 17's that were on it lol.
Body Kit: Clubsport
Engine: Standard 5L
Trans: Auto
Interior: Statesman seats, otherwise standard SS.
Brakes: Stock
Exhaust: Has a clubby system & extractors on it atm, it will be changed when the funds are there, thinking Manta.
Suspension: Lowered, no idea, scrape everywhere arghhh!
Audio: Crap CD player, sub not installed yet, looking for a new amp etc

Future plans: Take her back to original SS specs, kit, interior etc. Brake upgrade and then just enjoy her! OH I'm also entering the One Night Stand Burnout competition in Bunbury sometime in October.

Pics :)

looks good  , why would someone change the kit to BT1?, I don't know heaps about these things but wouldn't the SS kit be better.

I have to say while yes it doesn't have the proper SS kit at least the clubby kit is complete. Looks good. Makes me want a 5 litre SS even more.

BT1 doesn't have a "kit".

Looks like a decent pick up for the $. Any interior pics ?

Gotta love the 5 Litre. And +1 for turning it back to SS spec.

Hahaha up yours Bjorn, imma do skids in your driveway now! :p I'm going to assume that whoever had it before me liked clubbys SO much, whoever had it before has spent some good money on it and plenty of time too, the lady who had it last however had NO CLUE! I don't mind the look of it, I just prefer the SS kits much better, and I'm not a fan of putting other kits on cars when they don't belong. Hahaha yes the VE isn't mine, the BF got it for me (hes a truckie, so he never drives it), if I didnt have the VR then the VE is the daily mums taxi.... I'll grab an interior pic tomorrow :)

Thanks, been busy as lol, but I'll be here perhaps a bit more now :)
