I thought my new stato's exhaust would drone like **** considering the tailpipe is so big I can almost fist it, but it turns out to have a nice smooth sound that isnt too loud. I had a look underneath and the exhaust goes down either side to the rear of the car before joining into the one massive pipe right at the end

Fluffy wins. Still sounds better than the best L27/36 IMO. I'm quieting mine down so the S/C can make all the noise.

Just a manta 2 1/2 catback with rear resi, nothing special

at least i never said it'd sound like a v8

And fluffy always wins! It'd prolly have more power and torque running 5 cyl than the emotec!

The emotec has 136kw from memory!!!!
Fluffy would still kill it, even with fluffy's fat arse!!

I've heard a lot about the manta too, the old zorst was 2 1/2 without the rear resi, sounds ok on the outside but deafens you in the back seat.
So ill be glad to hear it quieter.

Cost me $315 to my door.

If anyone has worked out how to upload sound or video from the IFAIL then by all means, I'll throw one up!

147 (S1) or 152 (S2), still only 100rwkw, but Fluffy weighs about the same as an M1 Abrams.

Damn, that's great, I just blew $340 on another RedBack system. Hopefully lasts more than 3 years this time. One thing with mine though is I notice the VS 2 uses a flare not a flange to the cat (cat is welded to the Y too), so no matter what my exhaust always costs more than the flange type, it's bullshit!

Yeah, YouTube is the winner for vid, easy as, if you have a Google/YouTube account you have a channel.
