VHT High temp gasket cement is excellent for gluing the wayward sole of my thong together
thats because they are shutting most of there shops and merging with another company
Masters (big bunnings like shop) is closing down and merging with another company?
Any link i can read?
Yeah, I would like to see that too.
merging with Big W to become BIG M
Dick Smith seems to be in a bit of trouble, maybe merge with them, can be called Masters Dick.
I dont think its common public knowledge as yet, but i heard they're getting bought by bunnings (coles)
Why would Wesfarmers waste their money on it though ?
To rebrand into Bunnings and have the whole market
Or let them close, have the whole market and save a bunch of coin.
But to have the whole market, they'd need to build new stores...
I wonder if theres a way they could get hold of established stores and rebrand to bunnings...oh wait
Cooking Bacon shirtless... #thuglife
Woolworths already owns Dick Smith.
The entire Woolworths network is in some serious trouble and theyre making lots of very questionable decisions in storeland.
If you buy your meat from there. Stop.
They don't necessarily need to build new stores. The hordes already flock to their existing stores. Sure, more locations means easier access for those hordes but do they want to take on the issue of the numerous co-located Bunnings & Masters stores meaning double leases/rents in the same spot for no real gain whatsoever. I can see the benefit in taking on stores where they don't have a presence.
Woolworths sold Dick Smith to private equity for some $94m. They then proceeded to list ~12 months later at a total in excess of $500m. Therein lies the PE scam.
There is no way in the world DS increased in value by that much in such a short period of time.
Wow, didnt realise they sold them. Look at that.
not sure about you stealthy, but a lot of the masters stores back home are near on next to, across the road from or within walking distance from a bunnings.
in those cases it would make minimal sense to have bunnings on both sides of the road
Every time I see an ad or email for a stores that says "What's in Santa's sack", I cant help but think, **** the internet has ruined my mind.
If you have an iphone and want a little chuckle, check out the autocorrect for "lardass". apparently it's been that way since at least 2013 and is part of the OS! LOL!
Good to see IT devs still have a sense of humour about easter eggs.
