Been thinking of doing the same course.
Was doing civil work last year on the highway upgrade in Brisbane. traffic controllers were getting better money than the labourers.

Men at work would be worth a try. They actually pay pretty good money too. Not sure about down there but up here they handle pretty much everyone's traffic control needs. Barely anyone has their own guys any more.
