I'm guessing that the speed limit for that road is the same at the bottom of the hill as it is at the top though.
And that a car can emergency stop faster when travelling up hill than travelling down hill.

Turns out cheap mineral oil is better than full synthetic in my V6.
Its a lot quieter than it was already and I haven't even flushed it yet to get all the crap out!

Penrite Everyday 10W40, probably explains a bit.
I only used that because I wanted to stick with the grade my mate put in when he changed it last year while I was away.
Now I've got Valvoline XLD Premium 20W50 in it.

Haha yeah I can justify it with the clubby but I'm not sure about anything else. In Penrite's defence I have used it in every car I have ever owned and never had a single issue. Clubby is just a lil bitch that needs the best of everything.

This is the 3rd oil change its had since I've owned it.
Have noticed a little bit of lifter noise, perhaps because its thicker?
This is part one of the change, gonna put a bottle of flush in with this oil then drain it again and fill it up with another filter, because I'm anal like that
It doesn't have the original engine, I contacted Holden about it and they told me it was out of a '97 VS Sedan, the next thing I want to know is the service history and how many kilometers that sedan had before the engine was pulled out..
