Sounds like one of those moments when you stop and reflect for a few minutes...
Then probably finish the job kneeling, or wearing a box lol!

Yeah I seem to reflect, sometimes even for a few months, then I go out and make stupid choices without thinking. 18 months ago I chopped my finger off with the circular saw, just two days after Christmas. Then more recently forgot I was wearing a scarf and leaned over a running engine in the dark.... I've also sat the grinder down on the cord while it was still spinning and sliced the circular saw cord off because I was rushing to cut a point on a post that we needed to drive in the ground with an excavator... I was once know as "passion fingers".... F's everything I touch lol.:oops::oops::oops::oops:

Ha yeah I'm like that sometimes, reflecting that is. Researching something I want to buy like a drill or grinder. So much research lol then decide which one to get. Then go in the store and see a different one I like better so get that instead.
Haven't cut any cords off yet but nicked a couple :)

    So, recipe needed peppermint essence.
as per usual to clean the spoon decided to put it in my mouth.

    Nostrils are now freely flowing
and breath is very minty fresh.

On the Spirit of Tasmania on my way to Adelaide. Lined up some stato door trims to collect, probably at Tailem Bend. The bloke is a trucky so hopefully he won't be delayed in leaving Adelaide. I have been waiting 6 weeks for these trims and am keen to fit them the same day i drop my bike engine off to have the 250 head dishes reshaped, to go on the 400, which just happens to be the day after I arrive.

All the way to Tailem Bend for some trims...that's keen.

I drove through there once, almost hit someone walking down the middle of the road. And that was about as remarkable as i found the place.

It was going to be out near the Port in Adelaide but he is happy to chuck them in the truck and meet me along the way. Tried every where in the Launceston region and couldn't find any Stato trims. One place said in the 15 years he had worked there not one VR or VS Stato had came in. Fairly rare in Tas unfortunately. I could have tried Hobart but its 80 bucks in petrol and i had no other reason to head down there. Unfortunately the fully optioned VR V6 ute, is just the poverty pack with aircon and cruise fitted.... Woot, woot.....

So just wanted to say that last year was a great year but yet this year has been even better. This year I managed to marry my beautiful wife back in Feb. I was also able to finally have the building inspector sign my house off as complete, mid this year and I can now legally live in it. Took me five years to build it myself but it is finally done.
I have also been able to get my ute that a friend bought for me I think the year before to a stage where it is running and driving really well, without any major issues. It's now finally at a stage where I can work on the fun stuff, that being the upgrades.
So even through all my grumpiness, I am a fortunate man to have all that I have. Looking forward to what 2019 brings.

Finally found out when the old newsreader on triple J would say "Yaama" it was actually hello in her native indigenous language.
Always thought that was the case but didn't know its origins.
Learn something new daily I suppose.
