Hey man. Don't hate. Could be worse...................? The money's getting out of hand...had to buy a new SV6 to get rid of it all.
Dont know, but I might think it's different for other states. You need to be over 19 to get your full license... :\ My Licence - P2 Plater
id be guessing yours is for a 3rd yr or 4th yr in commercial. (well as said, power distribution) lets just say, its still high but not really that high for an apprentice. wait til you get on the big industrials and its a 4 figure weekly take home as a 1st year, thats when you know its a huge pay for an apprentice. Bunnings and the like. go in to spend $50 voucher. come out having spent another $100 on top from impulse buying.
Yeh i've got a mate doing the same, makes me think of looking for an adult commercial electrician app after I finish my chippy app. I hear a fair bit across trades that commercial guys are some of the shitter tradies going round tho.
Yeah my bad. Just realised I must have come off as a mega tool. A tenner in the douchebag jar, I think...:boxing: Also, only a 2nd year. On income protection due to sickness, so I guess I'll be staying a 2nd year for a while. Some tradies are as rough as hessian undies, I tell you what. :hmmm: But then again, I'm still just a **** kicker
its all good. i dont think you're being a tool about it. and to all those who are looking at the bad sides. wait until you become fully qualified, then you can also earn the big bucks. also, so long as you are enjoying it then its not bad. nothing worse then being ina job you dont like. no your a cable tie cutter
the workshop foreman at work who has been there 7 years and is well payed for what he does just left to be a line mechanic apprentice and is staying on the same money and pay goes up and up every quater.
4th year fitter apprentice doing shift work. Clearing $1300-$1800 depending if I work the weekend. Nightshifts are usually the best because I sleep for most of it. Not tonight though. Getting hammered with breakdown work. I work alone as well.
