There used to be long-life milk imported from NZ and it was cheaper than the Coles -black & gold over here. I have never figured out how imported food from NZ can be cheaper than our local equivalent? I mean surely diesel and logistics adds to the cost.....

There is an article in today's Waikato Times about the price of cheese. Mainland tasty cheese appears to be the dearest at over $18 per KG. Many others are around the $14-$15 dollar range Mainland cheese a product of NZ is the dearest here at a bit over $13 a KG. Most others are around the $8 mark. Sorry to all our Kiwi friends but you are getting screwed.

Wine and cheese go together. To keep that balance, is that why are well known 'name' brand Australian wines are cheaper in NZ than in Oz. ?

Whilst I agree with you in general, Clowndse portrays a squeaky clean image to his adoring fans/public. Best not do something silly when you are the media darling.

Coles often has Mainland at around $10 kg on special. I bet the same applies for our Tasmanian Ashgrove cheese and milk. I bet you Qld'rs get it cheaper than we do.....

King Island cheese, Stokes Point Smoked Cheddar......OMG I love this cheese:D

My local Coles sells it in a 170g for $9.35 (regular price....12-18 months ago it was around $7 something)
At the current price it is $55/kg !!
