It is good, so much better than the dumpsterfire of seasons 1&2. The new showrunner seems to be a much bigger fun of classic trek, which is bleeding through. Its a bit fan servicey but feels like it might wrap up the next gen story nicely.

Lower decks is also lots of fun, and the few eps of Strange New Worlds I've seen have been good.

This season is supposed to be the final season , but I guess we will find out more after the final episode highly likely.

I do agree with you season 1 and 2 , looking forward for few episodes of season 3.

Strange New Worlds was great, a real throwback to the traditional formula. Family friendly, imaginative, episodic and paid full hommage to red shirts
