the VF commodore to get the full v8 line up?

hey guys,

according to this news page the Chevy SS ( commodore to a select few countries) will be places as a 4 door "corvette" as the high GM performance models.

it does state that the SS will be powered by the up and coming LT1 generation 4 small block. but what i am thinking if they can get the whole engine range over there does that mean we will see high end motors making it into our commodores. ( im thinking zr1, if they make a c7 zr1) what do you guys think?

I agree...I like both Corvettes and Commodores, but both for DIFFERENT reasons!

If they did, I am certain it won't look like that. I haven't heard of any credible rumours about such a vehicle. Online blogs trolling for more traffic don't rate as credible in my book.

we already have a good idea on what its gonna look like i was more infact talking about the engines....

Well you think they would have a big range of engines. They always have. I like the way they do it over there. If you're willing to shell out more you get the extra hp. We should do it here more. Instead of having one offs all the time like the group a and w427. The gts should have a bigger engine not just optional 6 pot brakes and an extra 10kw. They used to be good VR - VY.

That Implies that the Chevy SS is sold as a Commodore to a select few countries? I thought the Chevy SS was based on a Commodore not the other way around.
