Car still has stock efi 304/4l60e in it so might try to wire & plumb that up hopefully engine not fubar'd as not run in 10 years.

In contact with engine builder about junker red 308 statesman block already 40 or 60 thou so no point buying flat tops or cheap scat crank as doubt will be reusable next time needs so probably just hone with new rings, bearings if required & basic oil mods.

Heads are pocket ported vt items decked 30 or 40 thou as want to reuse top end in case go stroker route with another block in few years time...compression ratio will lower than ideal....9.5:1 if lucky lol

Smallest off the shelf solid...crow cam 4626

Crow Cams Camshaft, Holden V8 304/355 Solid Carby, Adv. Duration 238/244, Valve Lift 0.534/0.544

109 lobe cant remember.

Not made my mind up on intake maybe edelbrock air gap...dont like dual planes but want to keep it all under bonnet.

100-150 shot

Something like 3500 stally & 3.45 or 3.7 gears depending on rear tyre but alread car
4.11 lsd & 27 tall 255/60.

Specs probably change over time like most builds.

That panelbeater must love you? Keep the cars coming to him, & he'll be able to retire soon! ;)

Going to need pics of both cars please. :)

Only got pics from morning when they were on towtruck.

He won't be happy when he sees extent of damage on lc gtr....we both grew up with that car so it has a lot of history & sentimental value.

Been trying to spend a few hours each day on vk but easily sidetracked cleaning up garage & doing stuff around house inbetween fitting parts back on to the car...untill go back to work tuesday.

Needs rear screen section, outer sills both sides & inner sill +floor plan....had very minor rust when got it 30 years ago she held up well untill I left in storagage for years not even checking on the cars or realising neighbours lemon pepper tree acidic leaves was getting through garage roof & into the cars.

Terrible weather so have not been able to roll car out of garage to work on things wanted to do.

Have been doing little bit of wiring for an hour or two at a time then need to walk away from it lol

Car had melted fusebox and some dodgey bypassed wiring so thought would try to fix it ended up getting carried away stripping most of it back & now hiding wiring & planning out what can be hidden & where etc

No pics car looks exactly same and inside looks worse wiring everwhere lol
