Its always hard to move on to a new car, esp if the car always treated you well, to be honest id be happy if my VY left, its caused me grief over the last year, but its a gamble bought it second hand, if i bought new id have a different opinion, Iv replaced water pump, power steering pump, radiator, lifters, coil packs & new door seals, window seals just to stop the bloody thing leaking. My VX on the other hand i love it, 4 years and never had a fault, id cry if something happened to it lol

I did not know everything ran through the IQ system, im sorry but with cars i wish they would keep it simple, whats wrong with a good old button on the dash for the AC ? I wish they would keep all these gadgets out of cars to stop people being distracted from paying attention to the road, im sure people have crashed just trying to get their heater on.

Good luck with the new car mate, Any Pics ?

Thanks edals and yes I absolutely agree with you about keeping things simple and not having drivers distracted with all the fancy electronics. Somehow car companies think that everyone wants vehicles filled with complex electronics - especially the German manufacturers.

Cannot take an pics today as it's raining here.

I did a lot of reading on the VE pages here before deciding to buy one and it's interesting how some people with problem VEs have mentioned that they wished they had kept their previous commodores rather than updating to a new or used VE. Hopefully GM have their act together on the new VEs by now.

    Cheers
