At 7:30am my VX SS will be going into Streamline Automotive at Warners Bay to get a DuSpeed OTR and an edit done on the ecu/auto.

As im sure you can tell or if you have been through something similar, one can get quite excited! This is the first REAL modification i've had done to a car other than a 2.5inch catback exhaust.

After the procedure i will post up dyno results, if provided with them, and bulk pictures of the work done to the car.

Yup, and thats with only standard fuel in it as well (last filled up at some dodge servo out in the sticks).

I asked what is next and was told to continue on with the exhaust. I was quoted to get a set of Xforce hears and Xforce highflow CATs it will $1400 fitted. Only going with Xforce to continue on with the same branding scheme. I never really read how much the OTR changes the sound of your engine/exhaust... It sounds like its going to lift off the ground!

I will soon post up some pictures of the work done in the engine bay.

sounds good mate, have only heard bad things about x-force exhausts, but you might get lucky. Keep us updated how you go. Does it really make a huge difference to the car sounds with an otr? Just going by your comment of "I never really read how much the OTR changes the sound of your engine/exhaust... It sounds like its going to lift off the ground!"

The guy at streamline rates them pretty good, not the best, but still good for the price.

The sound difference is massive. You can REALLY hear the car breathing and has changes the exhaust note when the revs are higher. Before the OTR my exhaust sounded like it was getting overpowered, in the volume department, by the engine.... but that has all changed now. I've got a DuSpeed one so not sure if others would be different.

nice mate, sounds good. Quite a few performance shops here in WA supply/fit x-force and claim they have no issues with them. Never been in a car with an otr so wouldnt know, but it does sound cool :D

It is a whole new car!

I was very "ehhh, i cant see it making too much of a difference and people are giving this procedure too much hype"... But i was very wrong.

Having an auto there was a little bit of drone in regards to the 2.5inch catback with standard cat/headers... that is now gone
Also the sluggish auto **** pattern... that is now 100% gone. its so gone it now chirps going from 1st to 2nd under load.
The intake noise is just.... AMAZING.

I would 100% recommend ANY LSx owned to go to your nearest performance shop and get a Duspeed OTR, or any flavour really, and a LS edit/tune
