can't seem to find a specific answer for my problem, so here goes

been hot lately (today was 30 degrees C!)

and the temperature keeps rising toward middle, then dropping to 1/4

i stop they car, leave the engine running, temp is at 1/2 and i notice that the thermo fan isn't moving

but it does in order to lower the temp am i right?

how can i check it still works and that it's not broken?
and that it comes in at the right time?
time for a new one?
thanks :D

Turn on the air conditioner and see if the fan works.

Try swoping the relay with the horn relay. Dose the horn still work after that....

Yeah, common problem - agey relay - make sure you get the correct part number from Bursons or Holden etc.. Yep good hint is to check the horn relay.
Cheers
