my girlfriends, VX C2R needs a thermostat replaced, would it be better to get a pro or DIY it?

E edals Well-Known Member Joined Sep 30, 2008 Messages 1,907 Reaction score 60 Points 48 Location - Members Ride - Jan 7, 2011 #3 Easy as Mate, Just remove the Bolts, Yes you will spill some coolant, Clean up both surfaces & remove old gasket, Remove old thermostat, Installed new one, Install Gasket, Replace Hose and do bolts back up tight, Top up coolant.

Jan 7, 2011 #4 dont forget to bleed it a bit too!~ (bleed air from screw ontop of thermostat housing when cold then again when hot)
