keeping with the christmas theme - christmas customers asking annoyingly obvious questions.

"scuse me butcher, is this ham cooked?" or
"whats the difference between a turkey buff and crown? they both look the same"

I am so happy I no longer do supermarket work.

I used to do nightfill and perishables work and everytime I left the backdock it was like running the gauntlet of retarded questions.

I used to love working at Burson during Christmas.

Customer: Hey I need to order X

Me: Sorry all suppliers are closed till mid Jan, unless I can get it from my warehouse, EADC.

Was the best 3 weeks. Every supplier would shut up shop so couldnt order anything special in.

I had a pearler at SCA today too, get a phone call
"I bought a sunshade earlier and don't have it and its your fault because you didn't put it in my bag."
"Yep its still here at the register"
"So when are you going to deliver it?"
"We don't deliver, you'll have to come and pick it up."
"F##k that I l'm all the way in Glen Iris, (a whole 2 suburbs away) I want to speak to the manager"
    "Speaking"
So he grumpily hangs up and now I'm stuck with his stupid $4 sunshade taking up space.

Christmas brings out the morons even more sadly.

when you put money in a vending machine or one of those self serve checkouts (only use them if there is a decent wait for normal checkouts, and only have about 1-5 items)
and its say $3.20 or some figure like that.
put in $5 or 10 and instead of giving you a nice 1$ 50c, 20c and 10c piece, its a million and 1 10c pieces that come back in the change.

And on top of that, not be able to find a decent sock to put all the coins in them to beat the living hell of the machine...

That annoys, piss, bugs me off too.

While Xmas brings out morons , it also brings out the worst in people , domestic assault , EBA (excess breath alcohol) from the Xmas do , short tempers and long waits in line , so it's the repeat offenders of domestic assault that piss me off , and how hard is it to ring a taxi ??

Slow drivers on the open road doing 70 to 80 oblivious to the traffic behind them. Police issuing tickets for those caught 1 to 2 km over the speed limit. Personally if i get one of these i'll be challenging in court. And finally and most importantly as you stated, EBA/ drunk drivers. No need for it at all!

Religion. Specifically in this case, Roman Catholic, and even more specifically, the zealots of the religion.

Still live at home, but looking at moving out with my girlfriend. Just idly made a comment to my mum about looking for furniture, holy **** did that start something. Basically it boils down to, if I don't follow God's (aka Her) rules, she will disown me and never talk to me again or attend my marriage. Her major rule being that I don't live with her until I get married.

So I guess soon my mum will disown me and she can jam her rules somewhere. IF she wants to disown me than zero ####s given.

The hypocrisy is strong though considering both my brothers lived together AND had kids before marriage.

She's probably upset you're planning on moving out and moving in with your girlfriend , she'll come around to it , my mum has the hot line to the Vatican , so I know what the whole catholic thing is like man , I look at it like this , and feel free to disagree , you can take the man out of the catholic , but you can never take the catholic out of the man .

I know she probably will, but I'm still not planning on telling her until the day I am moving my stuff out. I didn't mean to let on anything today.

The whole rest of the family doesn't care, and no other person has a problem, just her.
