    Aghhhh, yes !

Why is that females cannot understand that going into a clothing store, spending 30 minutes looking at stuff, then deciding that, that particular store has ‘nothing’, is boring to males.
Similarly, they find ‘something’ that is to their liking, they then decide not to buy it, and accuse the accompanying male of disinterest for not buying it for them.
(There are some nice bars near Constitution Dock that you arrange as a meeting place while avoiding said shopping )

Figjam. 30 minutes? More like 30 seconds. I have a standard defence against this excruciating ordeal.

"take your time, I'll just sit down here and do my crossword". (guaranteed good for at least an hour)

Living in NSW. This is becoming the dead-set Nanny State. It's unbelievable how many simple things are being legislated out in recent times. Ridiculous speed limits, no eating while driving, slow down passing ALL emergency flashing lights, including normal traffic stops by cops, they just keep on coming. Now, I think our government has done a good job of upgrading major infrastructure but have they ever lost the plot when it comes to laws? It's no wonder they are getting less and less popular despite their good work.

That is 30 female minutes. Enough male time to shop for a car mag, have a cup of coffee and a dog's eye with dead horse.

Yes, we could fall over, and do ourselves a serious injury on something sharp, and then sue some-one's arse for our stupidity.
Much easier to ask at the counter for a part, watch as they peer at a computer, and be told 'Nah, mate. None left anywhere in Australia".

Yeah I got your point about them taking 30 minutes. I only need 30 seconds and I'm bat-**** bored in those stores. Now avoid them at all costs.
As for the wreckers. Yeah, its health and safety and avoidance of litigation behind their cessation but gees, I loved spending hours wandering through the local yards.

Can't wait till I can have a ride on Newcastle's tram to nowhere. Hunter St looks really good now, but I don't think the unknown $millions rebuilding it are going to be all that practical.
No parking anywhere around Newcastle interchange. No parking in Hunter St. Stewart Ave will still be disrupted by tram crossing. Cruise ships are docking in an industrial area devoid of attractiveness.
During the V8Supercars in November, the buses dropped unsuspecting spectators over 1km from the entry gates. At least they had a nice walk along the waterfront.
Newcastle is heading to be a car unfriendly inner city.

There are 2 big infrastructure jobs that make no sense, both of them the light rail for Newy and Sydney. Why, why, why?

    Forgot the worse part.

Repeat the same crap on another stores, come back to the first one, buy one item after saying there is nothing to buy there. I rather have a root canal.

Just been to Big W. As far as a dept store goes its not bad. What gets me is i can walk into a store and in 5 mins I'm in and out with a shirt and pants. I don't need 50 mins to look through a few racks, where as chicks are exactly the opposite. Although I must admit I spent 20mins in the DIY section. But i did find a cool polishing towel for waxing the ute for 10 bucks, plus a couple of other bobs i thought would be handy at home.

And all boils down to the primeval part of the humans. Women are gatherers, Men are hunters, we go for the "kill" and done with it.

The number of current car TV adverts showing LHD cars driving on the 'wrong' side of the road for Australia.
Can't Australians make adverts for cars any more ? Why are these adverts not complained about, rather than targeting adverts showing cars going 'fast' ?

We quit watching regular Tele programing, way too many darn Ads. So we went with "Dish" and record all the programs on the DVR. The ability to FWD ads is bliss.

Not so sure if ads are effective any more. When one comes up, is a toilet break, grab another beer, get some to snack, browse the web on the phone for car porn.
