True but there are people who let their preconceived judgement affect themselves and others and those that don't. The former are often the people most miserable with their own lives

Planned obsolescence!

Washing machine stopped working and comes up with an high current fault on the motor. Pulled the motor out and found some corrosion on 2 pins. The motor isn't serviceable in any way shape of form. The PCB board is fully epoxied into it's housing and not repairable in any way. Non of these parts are available from the manufacturer either. FFS

Why should only creators/writers/actors be paid royalties in perpetuity (longer than a human life) for a single act of work?

Manufacturers wanted a piece of that pie so “planned obsolescence” was their solution

Said just after buying a range hood since parts cost were 3/4 price for the same new unit just wasn’t work the trouble to repair the greasy thing...

If such people hear the names of places in NZed they’d be shocked into correcting such morally offensive names... Places like Whackapapa (pronounced fuckapapa) and Waipu (why poo) or Hooker Valley and Shag point (my favourite)...
