Yeah that made me absolutely furious the Coon name change. After all though it’s owned by a Canadian company so they won’t give a chit.
It’s his friggin name it has ZERO racist reference. I guess now we have to look at changing peoples names for anyone that has, Blackman, Brown, White.......
So will the legal term still be blackmail??

Planned obsolescence!

Washing machine stopped working and comes up with an high current fault on the motor. Pulled the motor out and found some corrosion on 2 pins. The motor isn't serviceable in any way shape of form. The PCB board is fully epoxied into it's housing and not repairable in any way. Non of these parts are available from the manufacturer either. FFS
OMG yes!!!!
why does almost everything have to die 1 month after the warranty period??

Fisher and Paykel? If so, used to be easily servicable, now made in China and pretty much a throw away item.

yep waste of time being an appliance repairman now even appliances that they say will last for 10 years die around 10 years and 5 days old forget about getting parts if you can they will be to expensive. Once upon a time ago Frigidaire made washing machines that lasted 40 years.

And Westinghouse too. Inefficient water guzzling washing machine bought in late 60s, and fridge bought in 1970 still working fine.
