That is about right. Still no start with 40+ psi fuel pressure?

What happens to the fuel pressure when you stop cranking?

When you replaced the cap did you replace the rotor?

Have you checked voltage when cranking?

Clean and checked the earth connection on the ignition module? Also check/clean/tighten earth connections on block, chassis and battery terminals.

Switch out ignition relay with the horn or high beam relay as these are seldomly used and generally in good working order.
I've checked all earths and switched the relay, still no result. Ive run out of thinks to check. I've disconnected the viper alarm in case it was screwing up the imobiziler.

Sounds like it is immobliser related to me, if you have fuel, you have air but no spark and the ignition system is all ok not much else it can be.

Would the immobilized fail while driving?

Well we have established there is fuel pressure, still need to check if the fuel injectors pulse. Still need to physically check if there is spark. If you have a spare plug, open up the gap, pull off the number 1 spark plug lead, plug it into the spare plug and wedge the plug somewhere where the body is earthed on the block and crank the engine. Or you can get one of those fancy spark testers that plugs inline with plug lead. Or you can use a test/timing light with inductive pickup that clips over the spark plug lead.

Ok, I tested a plug and have no spark at all, which makes no sense as I have already replaced the dizzy, coil and module.

Do you know for sure that the dizzy is in the right position? There has been a few people over the last few months have it out.

I installed is the same position and it only required a small turn anti clock wise to turn it right.

Regardless how the distributor is timed, I would have thought a spark would still occur unless the anti theft crap has kicked in and inhibits the spark?

Ignition should work regardless of the PCM, it only takes over once the engine reaches a set rpm.

There are aftermarket dizzy's with questionable quality or it could be the module itself. Do you know anyone with a running 304 you could borrow a known working module from?

Test for spark directly from the coil (to rule out a rotor/cap issue).

Also, what replacement coil did you use?
