VT series 2 Calais V6 just done a radiator flush on saturday, replaced the thermostat, changed relays

If i drive around 60kph and under the temp gauge sits just below half and doesnt move

Soon as i do 70kph the temp gauge goes up to one line below the red / hot line

Both thermo fans are working

Do u think a blocked radiator? There is no coolant leaking, or faulty temp sensor? Would a faulty temp sensor trigger the fans to turn on?

No coolant in the oil

Did you bleed the air out of the coolant system?

Have you checked the thermostat?
Is it the same as before the radiator flush?

I pulled the thermostat out and cleaned the bleed hole next to the thermostat, i used a coke bottle in the radiator hole, filled her up bled her than started the engine warmed her up than turned the heater and fan on high than bled the air again

Took her for a drive within 1km of going 70-80kph temps went up to half way, i turned around and came back just doing 70kph and she peakedat 3/4th temp again i had to turn her off before she sky rocketted at the lights

Left her off for 2mins than restarted and she was reading just below half again

Im guessing i need to replace the head gaskets or get the heads checked for cracks?

3 days ago the coolant bottle was on the full mark, this morning there was no coolant in the bottle and radiator needed a top up

With the radiator cap off and engine running and up to temp are there bubbles coming out of the radiator?

How old is the waterpump?

Has it always had coolant/rust inhibitor used?

Thermofans turn off when you go faster than 64km/h, the fact that temps go up when you get up to 70 suggests there is either a airflow issue or coolant flow issue.
