VZ crewman thunder 6l
Replaced the throttle body on 6 litre SS crewman and the computer won't reset. When the engine is cold, it idles at700rpms, but as the engines warms up the idle speed increases up to betweem1500 to 2000 rpms. Every thing checks out on the engine. Has anyone had this problem and how did they solve it. It is a genuine Holden throttle body. Thx

The new TB is probably trying to 'relearn' idle.

On 06 upgrades (as Holden call 06-07 VZ's) the throttle body has to be relearnt by the ECM. I had a tech use a SnapOn diagnostic interface to recalibrate the throttle body to the ECM.

I can only assume V8 and V6 will be the same in function.
