    Sold my car :(
My caprice ss ls1 gives a thuk noise if I plant my foot hard on the accelerator. It goes thuk then it shoots off and goes forward. If I gently press it it is fine but if I press it hard or sometimes medium it gives a thuk noise. It happens most of the time. Any ideas. Umair

Do you mean a thud? rubber/plastic hitting metal? metal on metal?

Sounds like an engine mount considering its when you floor it.
