So i was playing around with the engine today... jst having a poke at this and cleanin that...

NEways i noticed a ticking noise... which i immediately thought was my RR's caus they got a touch louder since i put them in...BUT

When i got under the car it sounded alot louder so im guessin its coming from the bottom end...

Which as u can imagine has be abit worried...

I got no experience in bottom end problems... what could it be?

Could be a simple exhaust leak :)

Thats what i thought... But i've already had it re-sealed twice!
How can i detect its a exhaust leak? Other than takin it to the exhaust guy again...

What headers do you have? If stock these warp quite easily once removed.

Read it again, he said warp, w..a..r..p. Means bend or twist out of shape.

Get a piece of garden hose, or any bit of flexible hose, and using it as a stethoscope, move the other end around the headers and see if you can hear a leak.

I have that ticking that comes from around the gearbox area sometimes, got the gearbox fixed (due to slippage) and still have the sound, interesting thing it not there all the time, and has been doing this for the last five years, guess its normal by now:)
