Ticking noise

I have a 2003 vy v6 commy and I recently replaced the valley gaskets, rocker cover gaskets and installed the mace intake and plenum spacers and now my car is making a ticking/tapping noise but it wasn’t making the noise before hand

I had something similar on my vy finally after replacing the three way heater tap and the black and white vacuum canister at the back of the motor the problem went, vacuum seemed to be the problem

Are you able to post a photos of the vacuum canister

Sorry but I can`t but it is located on the firewall at the back of the motor it is mainly white with a black end and a vacuum pipe at each end it`s up high at the back of the motor easy to see

Does one end connect to the back of the plenum

No idea if you take the engine cover off you will see it
