Hmmm sounds good. What sort of rpm were you pulling at 100 kph?
I'm looking at smoother shifts also so sounds like the 3.27 might be the go.

I'm currently sitting at about 1600rpm in 6th @ 100kph, i paid $850 for my diff of the ls1 forums but it was a fully rebuilt unit with new bearings & seals.

Ahh sweet. What size rims do you have? I'm looking at a diff off ls1 too for $800 that's done 20000 klms. so i'll probably go that way.

I'm currently running the standard ssv 19s, is that the 3.45 diff that your looking at on ls1?

I sold my 3.45 lsd diff with 2000km's for $550 from memory, most just buy the diff complete lot easier than changing gears etc.

Anyone wanting to know how 3.7's go in a manual i should be able to tell you by the end off the week. I will have a 3.45 diff centre for sale at the same time only done 30000km's

Going 3.7 from 3.45 doesn't sound much but makes a big difference and still only doing 1800 at 100km/h.

The 3.45 is popular in the autos have heard of a few going 3.7 but makes 1st gear pretty short. Most go 3.45 as easy to get Manual SS diff where the HSV only 3.27 is hard to get.

what diff do the 08 ve ssv manual utes come with?

Manual SS's SSV's are 3.45 Auto's 2.92
HSV's are 3.7 Manual auto's 3.27
