Timing chain oil pump clearance

Hey guys I’ve recently bought a roller master double row chain for my 2003 vy eco and have been doing a lot of research on fitting. I found that I need a machined oil pump cover for clearance but mace don’t have any in stock and they’ve said they’re not sure when they’ll have more. So my thoughts were to machine the stock one down but I don’t know how much to machine it too. I emailed mace about it and they said they weren’t sure on the specs. Any help would be appreciated thanks guys

What I would do is fit the chain and check the clearance if there is interference measure how much needs to be taken off.
