Okay this is a really random question, and i couldnt find it anywhere on the site but i need to raise my car but i dont wanna change the struts over again, atm its sitting at roughly 90mm with lowered springs and sitting on 15' stockies, it sits high enough if i put on my 19s but then cant get it roadworthied, is there anything i can do to raise it while still staying legal until i get it roadworthied and registered so i can then put my 19s on??
ANY HELP would be much appreciated thanks

Higher profile 15?

Say a 215/70/15 will give you an extra 50mm in diameter so raise the car 25mm over the 205/65/15. Not a cheap option though. Personally I'd swap the springs.

Probably illegal too and thus , no good for RWC.

Get the right tyre profile for your 19s, which should be 235/35/19 , your load index will be 92 AT MAXIMUM - if it's 92 get the same tyres I had on my VS they're the only ones you can legally run. If its less than 92 you're sweet get anything.

if its a live rear axle. i know you can get these spring pad things. that go above the spring.
not sure if it would raise it much. but from memory you can get 8mm and 15mm ones.

doing some research you can also get them on IRS.

check here:

turns out it was 10mm raise.

Don't you mean minimum?

No, I don't. My VS Calais had a load index of 92, and I believe Calais' have a higher load index than standard commodores, so his MINIMUM LOAD INDEX won't be higher than 92.

My vs acclaim had a minimum load index of 92 too. If you go for a 95 or so then you'll be sweet
