While I have never drained my diff oil in my commy, i am under the impression that one of the bottom cover bolts if drilled through into the diff sump, and when removed, the oil will drain.

The differential identification tag is located behind the filler plug .

Also as a another tip get the diff oil nice and warm like go for a 30 min drive to get it nice and warm..

As diff oil is quite thick and is hard to drain when cold.... I always go for a 20 min drive usualy at 100 or so to get it nice an warm before i change it..

Also before putting the drain plug back in pour a little diff oil in there and let it flow out for a couple of sec to get the crappy stuff outta the bottom of the diff then with it flowing clean put the plug back in..

Oh andone more tip make sure you undo the filler first before the drain.. incase you cant get the filler undone and you have drained it all ready very hard to fill the diff via the drain...:thumbsup:

EDIT should of read the link before i said what i said as its all there... well bugger it i will leave it here.....
